对于儿子开始学习走路，可说是「一步一惊心」!如前所述，早產婴要面对的问题最常见是肌肉发展缓慢，力量不足，因此我儿在学习站立和走路都是「危危乎」的，极不稳健。纵使已经买了专为学习站立的多用途餐椅和助步车，但仍要经常担心他容易跌倒受伤，最糟糕的是他学习站立时经常向后跌，脑子着地，所以要在他活动的范围内铺上软垫，以减低受伤的机会。
    好不容易学会了站立，然后就开始学着走路。其实我的心理压力是挺大的，明明知道在适当的时候要学会放手，但却非常害怕儿子跌倒受伤。
    后来，我终于觉得儿子走路算是稳健，便放心让他自己在平坦的行人天桥上行走。
    「呜呜......」
    「哎呀！」我惊叫了声！儿子走着走着，突然跌倒了!他跌下来的时候，脸蛋撞在地上!我急忙扶起他，察看他的伤势。
    「糟糕了!」心里暗叫了声，然后紧拥儿子入怀。虽然他的脸只是轻微擦伤，可是两隻门牙却分别崩碎了一角。
    及后，我带他到诊所检查，因碎裂的地方并不严重，也没有裂成尖尖的，所以不需要特别处理，唯有留待将来更换恆齿，但起码也只等五、六年呢！
    我也不知道这样算不算是「不幸中的大幸」!
